Wanted: Senior Inspecting Surveyor

Landgate has one vacancy for a Senior Inspecting Surveyor. We encourage suitably qualified and experienced Licensed Surveyors to apply for this role.

About the role

Landgate’s cadastral survey inspection function provides a critical role in land boundary certainty, which underpins a secure land titles register, and the value of property in Western Australia.

Inspecting Surveyors apply qualifications, skills and expertise to undertake complex work including:

  • maintaining cadastral frameworks
  • inspecting cadastral surveys, plans and field records
  • facilitating survey and plan registration ensuring quality cadastral data in support of land titling, land development and positioning of location data

This is a Permanent Full-Time position, however Part Time arrangements may be considered.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, please demonstrate that you:

  • Proven experience delivering quality outcomes, including resolving complex issues
  • High level stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
  • High level communication skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively, including providing advice on complex matters
  • Significant experience and expert knowledge of cadastral surveying
  • Possession of a surveying or spatial science degree.
  • Registration as a Licensed Surveyor with (or eligible for) a current Practising Certificate

The recommended applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process prior to appointment. This includes provision of a current National Police Certificate that is less than twelve months old, declaration of any previous discipline or misconduct findings or allegations, and the verification of claims made throughout the recruitment process. It is the responsibility of the applicant to incur all costs associated with obtaining a National Police Certificate.
