We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants - Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Suitable applicants would ideally possess the ability to assist in teaching literacy, numeracy, and social skills. You would be flexible and willing to collaborate, work in teams and use explicit teaching techniques. Under teacher direction, you will implement individual or small group programs or demonstrations and assist in the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment and school resources. Ideally you will also assist the teacher with care and supervision of students during class activities and excursions, as well as assisting the teacher with the general care and wellbeing of the students.

We seek enthusiastic team members who continually reflect on their practice and who are open to being observed and receiving feedback to guide their professional growth.
