This is a permanent, full-time position commencing April 2026.
The Schools team is looking for a motivated Principal Consultant to join their team. To be successful in this role you will ideally have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The Role
If successful you will provide strategic advice and high-level support to the Cultural Advisor, Corporate Executive for the effective development, implementation and coordination of projects and Department of Education initiatives supporting Aboriginal students and communities.
You would also undertake research to identify emerging trends and issues and provide recommendations for strengthening approaches to Aboriginal education.
You would represent the Department on internal and external committees and working parties in a range of contexts related to strengthening outcomes for aboriginal students.

- hold a recognised qualification in teaching and be currently registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia
