The Role
The successful applicant will play a key role in coordinating our Student Support Program and contributing to the development of effective systems, processes, and intervention strategies that enhance outcomes for students, families, and staff. In this role, you will guide teachers in implementing targeted student support approaches, assist in facilitating group processes, and foster strong, collaborative links between students, their families, the school, and relevant community agencies.
Westfield Park PS is seeking an experienced professional who ideally displays expertise in managing complex case management processes. The successful applicant should have proven capability in coordinating and implementing interagency approaches to support the social and emotional wellbeing of students. You should excel in building collaborative partnerships with families, external agencies, and school staff to ensure integrated, high-quality support for students with diverse needs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills are highly regarded.
You will actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, offering information and consultancy as required. Additionally, the successful applicant will assist with student work assessments, liaising with parents, staff and other key stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student’s needs.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
