The Role

As a Program Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Executive, Leadership and Administrative teams to provide operational leadership within the school. You would help shape and promote the school's vision, fostering shared ownership among students, staff, and the broader community. 

The successful applicant should be a dynamic and innovative instructional leader, capable of driving a culture of continuous improvement. This role calls for strong organisational, interpersonal, and management skills, along with flexibility and a solutions-focused mindset. In addition to coordinating whole-school activities and events, this position may include a teaching load where required. Whilst the key responsibilities are listed below, the successful applicant would also engage with parents, families, and external stakeholders, serving as a key ambassador for Ridge View SC. 

Duties may include (but are not limited to): 

  • National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing Coordination and oversight 
  • Online literacy and numeracy assessment (OLNA) testing Coordination and oversight 
  • Timetable coordination and support 
  • Coordination of Subject Selection On-line (SSO) 
  • Exam Coordination and oversight (special exam arrangements, scheduling, rooming and processes) 
  • Reporting to Parents (RTP) oversight, maintenance and reporting processes 
  • Oversight of Orientation & Transition Programs 
  • Coordination and support of General and Year Group Parent Events 
  • Coordination and oversight of other school-based testing (PAT, ELASTIK, Pivot etc) 
  • Coordination of Immunisations, Photos and other whole-school operational events/activities
  • Roster Coordination (eg: Duty) 
  • Coordination and running of whole school and year assemblies as required 
  • Coordination of whole school events and ceremonies 
  • Other duties as determined by the Principal

The Manager of Operations will provide leadership support for the implementation of the college’s new Business Plan along with administrative/operational assistance to the Deputy Principals, Heads of Learning Areas, and relevant specialist staff. The successful applicant should have a thorough understanding of the operational requirements of a secondary school..
