The Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) branch is responsible for managing the delivery of ICT services with three major areas of focus: governance of the agency’s data, technological systems, and applications; support and development of core ICT services; and management of key ICT suppliers on behalf of the agency.
About the role
The Change and Release Analyst is responsible for overseeing the management and governance of IT assets, change and release management processes, and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of Configuration Items (CIs), asset records, and governs change control processes whilst overseeing the sustainment of the CMDB. These critical efforts will enable the ongoing value and currency of an up-to-date CMDB to empower IT Service Management outcomes and an informed decision-making process.

Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, please demonstrate:
- Experience managing ICT operation change process in a large and complex contracted ICT services under SIAM or ITIL frameworks.
- Experience in ICT Asset Management and CMDB sustainment and uplift.
- Sound understanding of a broad range of ICT technologies including infrastructure services, application support services, and project services.
- Demonstrated change management skills, including the ability to ensure appropriate assessment and evaluation of risks, impacts, and benefits of proposed changes.
