We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Mainstream for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Greenfields Primary School (PS) is a progressive school who is leading the way in academic excellence and high-quality teaching. The Role

You will ideally value developing positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and the wider community. You should have a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to anticipate and adapt to change, showing initiative, flexibility and creative problem solving to produce the best opportunities for students. A passion for working with young students and are committed to maximising your impact on student learning is highly desirable.

We seek enthusiastic team members who show initiative in adapting tasks to meet student needs. You will ideally contribute advice and expertise, collaborating with staff to support student achievement. Under teacher direction. You will assist in the delivery of planned education programs, including the operation of digital technologies; implement individual or small group programs, and provide valuable feedback to support student learning.

Suitable applicants will ideally assist with the preparation and organisation of quality learning environments by maintaining equipment, materials and resources, and assisting teachers with the clean and safe use of classroom items. You will ideally be responsible for assisting teachers with the supervision of students for all activities and the general care and wellbeing of students, including attending to minor illnesses and/or injuries.
