Warnbro CHS ESC is co-located with Warnbro Community High School with staff and students sharing equal citizenship across both schools. The school consists of Middle School for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 and Senior School for students in Years 10, 11, 12. The school is in the southern corridor of Perth, 50 kilometres from the Perth CBD.

The Role
The successful applicant will support the delivery of an effective student support service by assisting with administrative processes and providing information to students, staff and parents. Working under direction, you will collaborate with staff, families and community members to support student engagement as well as student support programs.
The Student Support Officer would be supporting our new staff with preventative strategies and complex behaviour needs, ideally providing assistance with behaviours while the capacity of our new staff grows.
The role includes maintaining accurate records and multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to intervention and support planning. You should build positive communication networks within the school and with external stakeholders as well as provide support with special projects and across the School teams as required.

- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
