The EMR
Program is a consumer-centred program that supports healthcare
providers to perform their roles enabling safety and quality to
be at the heart of care for every consumer. EMR has been
established to digitally transform WA Health’s clinical
information management systems by delivering a statewide EMR
solution for WA Health. The EMR Program will incorporate
changes to technology, business processes and culture. It will
take advantage of innovations in digital health care to improve
patient safety and quality of care for the Western Australian
community regardless of their location.
The EMR
Program comprises several projects including:
- Clinical
transformation;
- Technical and
infrastructure delivery;
- Procurement and contract
management;
- Workforce and change
management;
- Implementation planning;
and
- Business, project, and
program operations.
We are
looking for motivated and experienced Project Support Officers
to join our diverse and highly skilled team in contributing to
the health of all Western Australians.

financial, ICT, procurement and supply, and workforce services
to more than 65,000 employees across WA’s public health
services and hospitals.

Your new
role
This recruitment
pool is for Fixed Term Full Time or Fixed Term Part Time
appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of
extension(s).
Position Profile:
As Project
Support Officer, you will:
- provide
high level administrative, governance and organisational
support to support the Program Manager, Project Manager/s, and
Program Director to deliver project and program
outcomes.
- contribute across
multiple work packages and project streams within the EMR
Program, depending on your skills and experience.
- work in
collaboration with key stakeholders including clinicians,
program, project and technical subject matter experts, both
within and external to the EMR Program.
Experience
in large scale complex projects / statewide programs / reform
agenda for whole of state, organisations, hospitals, or Health
Service Provider/s is highly valued for this role.

Note: This
position will initially be established with Health Support
Services as the employing authority. In the future, this
position may undergo a review for reestablishment within the
