The Role
The successful applicant will share the school’s vision of providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for our school community. You will be responsible for the organisation and supervision of school cleaning staff, which includes new cleaning staff induction, stock management, organisation of relief staff and a responsibility for highlighting issues and concerns on behalf of cleaners.
The role will include liaising with the Manager Corporate Services regarding all cleaning matters, ordering and servicing of cleaning equipment and consumables within a fixed budget, carrying out cleaning of internal and external areas and ensuring emptying of all rubbish containers. This role requires the applicant to work in a split-shift arrangement (mornings and afternoons). The successful applicant will ideally contribute towards a positive team culture and enjoy the challenge of working in a vibrant primary school. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but not essential.
