The Role

The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the premises, including setting the security alarm system.

The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. The suitable applicant should work well both individually and as part of a team and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.

This is a split-shift position with scheduled hours in both the morning and afternoon.
