The School Curriculum and Standards Division supports the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) by providing administrative and secretariat services and implementing its decisions. The Authority ensures quality curriculum, assessment, and standards to empower all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society. Additional responsibilities include developing online exam structures, evaluating educational measurement activities for Years 11 and 12, and ensuring seamless data transfer between schools and the Authority. The Directorate is committed to meeting reporting requirements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, supported by a diverse team of specialists in program analysis, systems, cyber security, and data management.
