Kent Street Senior High School (SHS) is proud to be an Independent Public School located within 5 kilometres of the Perth CBD. The Role
The role of the Library Officer is to supervise the day-to-day operations of the library and provision of reference, information and associated services to teaching staff and students. As part of the role, you will administer library systems, ensuring library records are up to date and library resources are maintained and processed, so they are always accessible and available to students and staff. The successful applicant will ideally conduct library skills training and demonstrate the use of library equipment, as well as providing technical advice on the library Information Technology system.
The successful applicant will ideally display strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment. Ideally, you will possess strong computer skills across a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spread sheets and word processing. Applicants with previous library experience and knowledge is highly desirable.
