WA College Of Agriculture – Denmark is seeking a Program Coordinator – Student Services to join their friendly team.

The Role

As the Program Coordinator, you will contribute to the development of the school Business plan through participative decision making, including assisting in developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems. The Program Coordinator will have specific responsibilities for each year group in a number of areas including pastoral care, data analysis, building relationships with key stakeholders, administrative and operational systems.

The successful applicant will provide educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision, encouraging students, school staff, volunteers from the community and others to share ownership of the school's vision and goals. Using strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with effective change management strategies, you will lead the school community to manage and develop opportunities for improved service across the school.

The role will ideally cover the following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring attendance, behaviour and other aspects of student engagement and processes that support this work.
  • Supporting students at risk and developing plans for improvement.
  • Leading supportive programs that focus on inclusive engagement and skill development.
  • Leading the SST in both supporting students and staff and liaising directly with Administration and key stakeholders.
  • Lead the systems and practices across the school within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model.
  • Monitor and manage Disability Resourcing System (DRS) applications
  • As an integral member of the Student Wellbeing and College Leadership teams, attend relevant meetings and case conferences and liaise with school staff, students, parents and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake a teaching or in class support role, as required
