The Role
Please note that we currently have 1 permanent fulltime position available starting term 2, 2026.
We are seeking ahighly focused and enthusiastic Academic Performance Program Coordinators who would work collaboratively with the Associate Principal Lower School to monitor and improve academic performance, develop and lead literacy and numeracy strategic plans, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Some of the role key responsibilities as Academic Performance Program Coordinator may include the following:
- Academic Leadership: Monitor academic performance of Lower School students, facilitate academic referral processes, and develop strategies to improve individual and cohort outcomes using available data.
- Data Analysis and Strategic Planning: Analyse Lower School data including OLNA, NAPLAN, and Reporting to Parents (RTP) to guide strategic planning and interventions. Create individualised academic support pathways and targeted support strategies for students at academic risk.
- Transition and Placement: Coordinate Year 6 transition testing and data collection, support primary school visits, conduct new student placement testing, and facilitate Year 10 to 11 course counselling.
- Program Management: Manage academic support programs including the Library Homework and Study Schedule, Academic Peer Mentor program, Education Perfect platform, and whole school study skills program.
- Professional Learning: Facilitate professional learning to help develop Quality Teaching Strategies and differentiation in the classroom. Develop a culture of observation and feedback with staff and model exemplary teaching practices.
- Student Support and Communication: Support intervention programs, facilitate parent information evenings, provide effective feedback and communication to parents, staff, and students.
- Assessment and Literacy: Support Lower School Assessment Policy implementation, manage Year 9 and Year 10 exams and co-ordinate NAPLAN and OLNA. Work with the Senior Management Team on literacy planning and implementation.

- Literacy and Numeracy Expertise: Specialty in literacy and/or numeracy is highly desirable.
