The Role

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused School Officer to join our team in a key role supporting parent engagement, office operations and school communications.

This position has a strong focus on:

  • parent and carer liaison and front-of-house support.
  • student-related administration activities such as enrolments, healthcare/medical needs, assisting with the organisation of excursions and school events.
  • general administrative and office support functions.
  • marketing, communications, web presence and social media for the school.
  • managing and maintaining the school website as a key communication platform for families, ensuring content is current, accurate and clearly presented.
  • assist with coordination of relief staff, human resources and financial processes.

The successful applicant will be one of the first points of contact for families and visitors and will play an important role in building positive, respectful and supportive relationships between home and school.

You will work closely with the administration and leadership team to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office, manage records and communication processes, and assist with promoting school events, initiatives and achievements.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment, is task focused and organised, and is passionate about strengthening connections between school, families and the wider community.
