We are seeking to establish a pool of Library Officer’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Success Primary School (SPS) is located in the City of Cockburn. We embrace our school motto 'Unlock Your Potential,' ensuring parents and the school community actively work together to achieve improved outcomes for all students.

SPS boasts state-of-the-art facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room and gymnasium. The education support program locations are distributed across the school, providing inclusive opportunities for students and staff at all year levels.

The Role

As a Library Officer, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the library and provision of reference, information and associated services to teaching staff and students. You should administer library systems which ensure library records are up-to-date and library resources are well maintained, processed and organised so they are easily accessible and available to students, staff and parents always.

The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficiency in using a range of computer software applications relevant to library and administrative operations
  • The ability to work effectively with the school’s leadership team in resource and budget management
  • Well-developed initiative and capability to coordinate and support ongoing change management processes
  • A strong commitment to promoting reading, literacy, and lifelong learning within the school community

Experience working in a diverse school with students from various backgrounds and abilities would be highly desirable.
