The Role

Newman SHS is seeking to appoint an energetic and motivated individual to fill the role of Vocational Education and Training (VET) Support Officer and join their friendly team.

The successful applicant will ideally possess a commitment to facilitating student achievement and excellent interpersonal skills.

The role of the VET Support Officer is to provide administrative support ensuring the efficient operation of the Career Development/VET/Work Place Learning (WPL) area, including administering spreadsheets, databases, student records and effective management of other school information systems.

  5. Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and liaise with individuals at all levels.
