We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The School
Anne Hamersley Primary School is an Independent Public School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6). The Role
We are actively seeking K-6 teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, showing a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
Ideally, suitable applicants would display exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
As a member of our team, suitable applicants would leverage high-impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging literacy and numeracy programs. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future classroom planning.
Suitable applicants would ideally display the following:
- A strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and ability to deliver high-impact, evidence-based teaching.
- The ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment aligned with whole-school behaviour and wellbeing frameworks
- Effective planning, assessment, and differentiation to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with disability, English as an Additional Language/Dialect learners, and high-achieving students.
- Proficiency in implementing explicit instruction to ensure all students achieve clear learning goals through well-sequenced and scaffolded lessons.
- Highly developed classroom management skills and a proactive approach to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to year-level planning, whole-school initiatives, and professional learning communities.
- Engage in instructional coaching as part of our commitment to continuous professional growth and high-impact teaching practices.
- A commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflection aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
