The Role

We are looking for an early childhood teacher who will provide DOTT in a kindergarten and pre-primary classroom with the following skills and qualities. 

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
  • Effective collaboration with colleagues is essential.

Classroom Environment:

  • Create a positive, inclusive setting.
  • Set high expectations and promote a growth mindset.
  • Support students’ social and emotional development.

Teaching Expertise:

  • Exemplary teaching skills and motivation to excel.
  • Commitment to best practices and ongoing professional growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, whole-school approach.

Instructional Strategies:

  • Use high-impact teaching strategies.
  • Design and deliver engaging literacy and numeracy programs.
  • Balance explicit instruction with play-based pedagogy.

Differentiation & Assessment:

  • Differentiate for diverse student needs.
  • Use assessment tools to monitor progress, provide feedback, and inform planning.
