We are seeking to establish a pool of Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Yanchep Secondary College (SC) is committed to providing young people with a high quality and comprehensive education that allows our students and teachers to reach their potential. The Role

Suitable applicants would ideally be teachers who can engage students and challenge them to achieve their personal best, be able to work effectively in a team and independently.  Ideally suitable applicant would possess the professional knowledge, practices, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary HaSS curriculum using a positive, student-focused approach, and have success working with students across a range of ability levels

Suitable applicants will ideally possess excellent communication and public relation skills that allows them to build and maintain collaborative and respectful partnerships across the college and the wider community. You should also possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and instructional skills as you support the HaSS Learning Area through the College's School Improvement agenda. We value creative thinking that leads to better solutions and outcomes for our students..
