The Role
The successful Facilities Resource Coordinator will provide support to school staff for the supervision of cleaning and gardening services. They will coordinate the acquisition, deployment and recording of assets and resources relating to school grounds, buildings and amenities as well as related maintenance operations and procedures. This includes assisting with the preparation of funding submissions, evaluation of tenders and management of contracts. The role includes undertaking research and making recommendations regarding the acquisition of assets relating to the school grounds, buildings and amenities.
In this role the successful applicant will coordinate daily operations relating to the management and maintenance of school grounds, facilities, and amenities, including scheduling and completion of required documentation. When required they will also liaise with relevant parties such as staff, contractors and tradespersons. Applicants with strong experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships and community networks are encouraged to apply.
The Facilities Resource Coordinator will also assist the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) with developing and implementing asset management and maintenance strategies. Including monitoring and managing staff leave entitlements and staff performance with relevant awards, agreements and departmental policies.
