The Role
Comet Bay College is seeking a highly organised, motivated, energetic and handy Facilities Coordinator (Administration Support Coordinator – Facilities and Assets) to join our team!
In this role, you would oversee and coordinate daily operations relating to the maintenance of college grounds and amenities. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the overall presentation of the college’s buildings/structures, providing a high standard of presentation and a safe and appealing environment for students, staff and visitors.
The Facilities Coordinator ideally:
- Identifies and attends to general maintenance requirements in a timely manner.
- Liaises with and coordinates contractors and tradespersons undertaking work across the college.
- Makes recommendations and coordinates the deployment of minor works and improvements to amenities in consultation with the Manager Corporate Services and the Principal.
- Assists with the management of college Assets.
- Directly undertakes minor repairs and maintenance tasks (as capable), and provides logistical support to staff with the setting up of school events.
