Information Systems ECT are seeking to establish a pool of Senior Consultants - Computer and Network for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of December 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The School Curriculum and Standards Division provides administrative and secretariat services for, and implements the decisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority). The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.

The Role

The Senior Consultant is responsible for providing specialist technical expertise and consultancy to support the Authority’s information systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure. This position ensures the delivery of secure and reliable IT services in alignment with organisational objectives and service management principles. Key functions include managing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based systems, overseeing infrastructure and capacity planning, and implementing and maintaining security measures. The role also leads disaster recovery and business continuity planning, ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements while working with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.


In addition, the Senior Consultant is accountable for coordinating the development and implementation of both short and long-term information systems projects, managing procurement and vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate documentation and records in accordance with organisational policies.
