About the Role
VenuesWest is seeking casual swimming instructors to join our swim schools at Perth High Performance Centre in Mount Claremont and Arena Joondalup to fulfill shifts within our opening hours:
Perth High Performance Centre
- Monday to Friday - 8:45am to 12pm
- Monday to Thursday - 3.15pm to 5:30pm
- Fridays - 3:15pm to 5pm
- Saturday - 8:45am to 12pm
Arena Joondalup
- Monday to Friday - 8:45am to 11am
- Monday to Friday - 3.15pm to 6pm
- Saturday 7:45am to 11:30am
- Sunday 8:15am to 11:30am
The VenuesWest Swim School offers a continuous program in our indoor heated pools for babies (Arena Joondalup) toddlers (Perth HPC) through to adult swimming lessons. We are an Austswim recognised swim school with low class ratios to ensure maximum learning for our students. Perth High Performance Centre also offers holiday intensive classes during January school holidays.
About the Person
The successful candidates will have strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills and a passion for swim teaching. Previous experience as a swim teacher is also a requirement of this role. The following qualifications are essential:
- Current WWCC
- Current AUSTSWIM license or equivalent
- Current CPR
Desirable – Infant and Pre-School Aquatics Qualification
Candidates with significant teaching experience are also encouraged to express interest in a Pool Deck Supervisor position.
