The Role
Kelmscott SHS is in an exciting phase of growth, innovation, and positive change, and we are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher to join our dynamic team.
This is a unique opportunity to showcase innovative, contemporary teaching practices, contribute to an evolving HASS program, and position our school as a centre of teaching and learning excellence.
The successful applicant will ideally:
- Have experience teaching both Senior and Lower school HASS.
- Possess strong skills in teaching ATAR courses or demonstrate the capacity to do so in the future.
- Understand the developmental needs of students across all phases of the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Be skilled in differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to teach in English learning area
As a member or our team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative teacher who is committed to the development of the whole student. You will ideally be highly reflective of your teaching practices and committed to the evidence-based decision making and differentiation.
