Governance and Reporting are seeking to establish a pool of Assistant Finance Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of December 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Role
Assistant Finance Support Officers process expenditure in accordance with statutory requirements and Department policies. They incur accounts for payment and monitor financial transactions to the debtor and general ledger accounts.
Suitable applicants will respond to queries relating to contracts payments from internal and external stakeholders and communicate with creditors regarding account inquiries. Additionally, they will maintain finance payments records as required.
