The Role
Kelmscott SHS is a supportive learning community committed to the philosophy of “one student at a time in a community of learners.” Through the Big Picture Education learning design, we empower students to pursue their interests and passions while developing academic excellence, social skills, resilience, and well-being. We are seeking a range of applicants, including primary and secondary trained teachers with diverse skills. The successful applicant will design individual learning plans, support students in developing extended projects, and prepare them for exhibitions of their work. The position involves working as a Big Picture Advisory teacher within a small, supportive community within the school. The successful applicant will work closely with this group each day. The Advisory teachers' responsibilities may include teaching, inspiring, building strong relationships, and managing learning.
