The Enterprise Governance and Partnerships Division drives high performance at a system level by providing senior leaders with visibility and assurance of system performance and improvement initiatives and confidence in the management of key external partnerships. We achieve this by delivering strategic projects using robust project and program management practices, enhancing oversight and governance aligned to initiative complexity, and supporting evidence-based decisions through effective use of data and intelligence. Additionally, we foster strong internal and external partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and positive relationships.
Our Business Intelligence team strives to advance the Department’s data strategy, specialising in:
- Developing sophisticated executive-level dashboards and performance visualisations
- Conducting in-depth analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making
- Identifying opportunities for operational enhancement and transformation
- Advancing the Department's analytical capabilities to support its strategic objectives
The Role
As a Business and Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and reviewing business processes and enterprise-wide systems. This position involves providing system administration and end-user support, while also contributing to the broader BI team through system testing, data analysis, development of data-driven products, and initiatives to enhance organisational data literacy.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, a solid understanding of technical systems administration, strong time management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience working in agile teams, or a strong interest in doing so, will be highly regarded.
