Scaddan Primary School, located 50km from Esperance in WA’s Goldfields Region, serves Kindergarten to Year 6 students from the farming communities of Scaddan, Grass Patch, Cascade, Neridup and Salmon Gums. The Role
As the Gardener - Handyperson you will work to provide gardening, grounds, and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. You will maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean, and tidy condition and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management and reticulation. You will perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested, as well as other Gardener - Handyperson duties in accordance with the department's policies and guidelines.
The successful applicant will maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in a clean and tidy condition and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management. In this role you will maintain tools and horticultural equipment in a serviceable condition and provide advice and support to the Manager Corporate Services on school grounds maintenance.
We are seeking someone to maintain and present the school grounds in a clean and tidy condition. Ideally, the successful applicant will be friendly, helpful, punctual, caring, hardworking, reliable, and take pride in your work.
