
Mingenew Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
As a Mainstream Education Assistant, suitable applicants will assist in the delivery of planned education programs. Suitable applicants will ideally be able to collaborate and work in a team environment, possess good written and oral communication skills to enable the implementation of individual or small group programs, as well as display the ability to support the general health and well-being of students.
Suitable applicants will ideally be organised and be able to use their initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment. As Mainstream Education Assistants, you will maintain equipment, materials and resources for use in classes. Experience working with programs such as Mini Lit, Maqlit and Language Lift or similar small group interventions would be an advantage, but a willingness to undertake training will also be viewed favourably in this selection process.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
