We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school Year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

  • Build staff capability: Identify, develop and support our workforce through consistent, high-quality leadership
  • Strong community partnerships and relationships: Enhance engagement practices with parents, families, community stakeholders and external agencies

The Role

Suitable applicants will assist teaching staff in the delivery of planned education programs and in promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include providing feedback when on education and therapy programs and participation in the evaluation process relating to student progress. Experience in the Reading Tutor Program – Multilit, and other small group intervention programs are highly desirable. The ability to assist with the general health and wellbeing of students is also highly regarded.

We value applicants who possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills which will be used to develop and promote the school’s values, ethos and priorities across the school community. Suitable applicants will ideally be compassionate and able to work collaboratively to implement documented plans and possess the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, and teachers. Additionally, a strong knowledge of a range of evidence-based techniques for learning and behaviour will be highly regarded.
