The Role

Do you want to join a team of successful practitioners, ensuring every student is successful through support and extension?

North Cottesloe PS is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join our team in 2026.

To be successful in this role, you should possess knowledge and understanding of the effective use of explicit teaching strategies for biologically secondary knowledge, or a willingness to learn. As a teacher at North Cottesloe, you should contribute to a positive team culture and enjoy the challenge of working at a school seeking to raise standards and improve student outcomes. Familiarity with some of our current practices such as UFLI, Knowledge Units, Spelling Mastery, Prime (senior years) or the Explicit Maths Program (junior years) would be beneficial, and knowledge and previous application of the Science of Learning will be highly regarded. We are particularly interested in someone who may have developed their skillset to a level able to coach and mentor others. Applicants who have completed the Teach Well Masterclass will be highly desirable, though we invest heavily in professional learning for our staff.
