Allendale Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic Gardener to join our friendly team. The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to work independently but also as part of the environmental services team under direction of a line manager.

The Role
We are seeking someone with a can-do attitude to enhance the physical environment of the school by developing new and maintaining existing garden zones.
The successful applicant will maintain the school to the standard to which it has previously been kept. In addition to, you will provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management and removal of leaves and litter daily. You will maintain tools and horticultural equipment in a serviceable condition, and perform general handy person jobs and moving of furniture and equipment in accordance with the Department’s policies and guidelines. The successful applicant will also perform tasks and duties using safe work practices and maintain accurate gardening records.
