The Role
The Manager Corporate Services (MCS) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective administration and financial management of Margaret River PS. This position provides high-level leadership across key operational areas including finance, human resources, asset management, procurement, and school support services, ensuring full compliance with Department of Education policies and procedures.
As the MCS, you should oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets, manage contracts and procurement processes, coordinate payroll and leave, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You would also lead and support the Allied Professional team, contributing to workforce planning and fostering a collaborative, efficient, and service-oriented workplace culture.
In addition to operational leadership, the MCS provides strategic advice to the principal, supporting evidence-based decision-making and aligning school resources with educational priorities. The successful applicant will ideally display exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a strong commitment to service excellence, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
