This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026

Eglinton Beach Primary School (PS) opened its doors to the local community of Eglinton in February 2025. It is the first school in the rapidly growing suburb of Eglinton and is an inclusive school catering for children from Kindergarten to Year Six, with an Endorsed Education Support program for up to 50 children.

The school employs staff who share our vision to create an inclusive school where every child can succeed. The school is located on a large site on Cerulean Drive, backing onto Heath Park. The school has state-of-the-art facilities with a purpose-built Early Childhood, two double story teaching blocks, a dedicated Education Support facility, library and undercover area. Specialist teaching areas for Music/Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are also included.

The Role

As a school officer, you would be the first point of contact for our students, families, staff and community and as such, a strong focus on customer service is key to this role. The successful applicant should be professional, positive and friendly, with well-developed communication skills. The successful applicant should work well in a team environment, display initiative and approach challenges with a solution focused mindset.

The successful applicant should ideally possess strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail with great flexibility to move between tasks and different environments within our school and be able to deliver priority outcomes in a dynamic environment.

They should have strong organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt to new roles and responsibilities to suit the growing business needs of the school. Applicants with experience in enrolment procedures and processes, as well as operating a range of software packages including Integris, Compass, RM Billing and Microsoft Office Suite are desirable.

Responsibilities of the School Officer may include student attendance, undertaking reception duties, meeting and greeting visitors’, answering the telephone, responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, and maintaining school databases including records and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up-to date.
