The Role
Treendale PS is seeking a motivated and innovative Deputy Principal to join our Leadership Team. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving school improvement and ensuring that enhanced student outcomes remain at the heart of every decision.
As a key member of the leadership team, our ideal applicant should exhibit good acumen in both instructional and strategic leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth. You will work alongside staff and Middle Leaders to build capacity, guide the implementation of high-quality learning programs, and support teachers in embedding evidence-based, whole-school teaching practices.
Our ideal applicant will bring a sound understanding of the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), with experience supporting students exhibiting complex behaviours through a case management approach that integrates wellbeing, academic progress, and behavioural supports.
Treendale PS is entering an exciting new chapter as we finalise and implement our new Business Plan following our recent Public School Review. As Deputy Principal, you will have the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of our whole-school Pedagogical Instructional Framework, ensuring alignment with the Department of Education's Teaching for Impact principles.
High levels of organisation, reflection, and self-management are essential for success, as the role also involves managing staff, coordinating whole-school processes, and overseeing timelines for significant events and initiatives.

- Driving curriculum innovation and embedding evidence-based instructional practices that lead to measurable improvements in student outcomes
- Applying advanced data literacy to analyse On-Entry and Whole School Assessment Schedule data, identify trends, set strategic priorities, and evaluate impact
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues to build collective efficacy, enhance professional practice, and drive continuous school improvement
- Leading and supporting positive behaviour frameworks that promote student wellbeing, engagement, and a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Exhibiting exceptional communication, relational, and analytical skills that build trust, inspire others, and resolve challenges constructively
