Join our team as an Investigation Support Officer within the Standards and Integrity Directorate at the Department of Education. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting a team of investigators responsible for managing and resolving complaints involving employee conduct. As an Investigation Support Officer, you will work closely with investigators to ensure the smooth coordination and progression of casework. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting investigators with the administrative and procedural aspects of complaint handling and misconduct investigations.
- Preparing case files, documentation, and correspondence in line with established processes.
- Coordinating meetings, interviews, and the collation of evidence and supporting materials.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in case management systems.
- Monitoring timelines and assisting with workflow management to ensure the team meets internal and external deadlines.
- Contributing to a team environment that values confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Thrive in a team-based environment and take initiative to assist colleagues in a high-pressure setting.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Are confident communicators, both in writing and verbally.
- Are comfortable working with confidential information and understand the importance of discretion and procedural fairness.
- Have experience in administrative support roles, particularly in regulatory, complaints or investigation-focused teams.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
