The Role
Geographe ESC is seeking an experienced and qualified Education Support Teacher who is seeking the challenge of working in a Program Coordinator - Student Services role in an Education Support Centre. Responsibilities of this role include:
- Coordinating allied health professionals delivering therapy services in school.
- Working with families, therapists, school staff, school psychologists, health professionals, community groups and students to develop and monitor social and emotional programs tailored to the well being of individual students, and the development and monitoring of whole school programs.
- Leading the school's Positive School Team which coordinates our Positive Behaviour in Schools program, our Berry Street Education Model initiative, and our Positive Education program.
- Coordinating engagement programs for students from Kindy through to year 12.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. They should have a solid understanding of disabilities and a commitment to ensuring accessibility and inclusion in all aspects of their work.
