The Role
Bullsbrook College is looking for a committed and highly effective leader to join its Executive team as the Associate Principal Years 7 to 12. This crucial role focuses on leading high-quality teaching and learning, along with driving student progress and achievement across the secondary campus. Some of the key responsibilities for this position include the comprehensive management of course selection processes for Years 7 to 12, which involves overseeing course handbooks and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) tracking.
The Associate Principal would also manage the activity schedule and School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) requirements, including SCSA uploads and the monitoring of senior school students, along with timetable development and maintenance.
A significant component of the role is to lead the implementation of the college's Instructional Model to grow the instructional capacity of teaching staff, and to foster a data-driven improvement culture. The successful candidate would assure and maintain high-impact learning in every learning space and oversee strategies and processes for achieving key academic benchmarks in National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA), WACE performance, and examinations. Finally, the Associate Principal would line manage Secondary Program Coordinators, including their performance development.
