Situated 50 km south of Perth, Warnbro Community High School (WCHS) is located in the beach-side communities of Warnbro and Port Kennedy. WCHS provides a nurturing learning environment that takes a holistic approach to the growth and development of our students. The WCHS community works together to develop students with strong aspirations and a self-belief in achieving success now and in the future. We are focused on improving student outcomes through meeting students at their point of need.

The Role

WCHS is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Workplace Transition Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will support the operations of the Workplace Learning Program, assisting in planning programs for individuals or groups to develop life skills and promote positive development.

You will evaluate enrolment and completion data and provide reports to the School Administration team, as well as researching and identifying pathways for employment or activities other than employment. Assisting in locating appropriate industry placements/activity providers for students and conduct site checks and meetings with prospective employers is an important part of the role. You will liaise with employers and relevant workers on duty of care requirements and provide information to parents and staff on the Workplace Learning Program.

    • Demonstrated initiative and sound problem solving skills, including the ability to identify appropriate solutions.
