
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Rockingham Senior High School Education Support Centre (SHS, ESC) is an Independent Public School for students in year 7 to12 with special educational needs and is co-located with Rockingham Senior High School. The Role
As the first point of contact for our school, the School Officer should be responsible for building positive relationships with students, parents/carers, staff and the wider community. Using their strong interpersonal skills, suitable applicants should display excellence in customer service delivery and be passionate about providing effective administrative support. They will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, answering the switchboard and responding to general enquiries.
Suitable applicants will ideally have the ability to meet deadlines and work well within a team environment. They should use their excellent oral and written communication skills to perform a number of student-related activities such as enrolments, general data entry in Compass, Integris modules, Resource Management (RM) Billing and SEN reporting. Possession of an understanding of platforms including Microsoft Office, Passtab and Seesaw would be favourable.
You should also possess a positive approach to the role and have a strong focus on personal development to learn new skills and processes when needed. Experience working in an Education Support Centre, supporting students with disabilities is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
