The Role

The Student Support Officer position is a full-time position in the highly dynamic Wellbeing Team at SRC. The successful applicant should display a relational approach to their practice with a focus on developing and maintaining safe and supportive interactions while setting a culture of high expectations. Sophisticated interpersonal skills, strong self-awareness, growth mind set and team work skills are highly desirable qualities to contribute to a Wellbeing team and the greater body of staff that relies on strong professional relationships to best support students and their families.

The successful applicant is encouraged to demonstrate experience within Student Services contexts and an understanding of how they have supported students, families and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of Compass and understanding of case management and record keeping responsibilities and skills would be beneficial to the role. Further to this, examples of positive outcomes of their practice will be advantageous.
