We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Kiara College is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in the Performing Arts, Agriculture and ongoing Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) redevelopments where students can capitalise on real life and industry standard applications of skills in these areas. Catering for Years 7-12, Kiara College offers comprehensive and innovative programs that support students to achieve their potential. Students can follow an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), General or Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways, preparing them for university entry, TAFE, or employment. Our partnerships with tertiary institutions such as UWA Aspire, ECU UniPrep and North Metro TAFE facilitate students’ success beyond school. We offer three Specialist Programs: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Agriculture and Basketball. Students are also able to study Contemporary Music.

We have a diverse student population of over 630 students who originate from over 20 different countries. A little over 30% of our students identify as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander.
