About this opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person
for the role of Director Payroll Services.
This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.
As the Director of Payroll Services, you will be a member of the
Health Support Services (HSS) Workforce and Organisational
Development Business Unit, responsible for leading and managing the
Payroll function and providing the WA health system with high
quality payroll and related services to over 60,000 employees. The
position scope will include; improving the efficiency and
effectiveness of payroll service delivery, ensuring service and
quality standards and strategic leadership of the members of your
business unit, with a particular focus on cultivating a culture
that facilitates the achievement of business objectives. Reporting
to the Executive Director, Workforce and Organisational
Development, you will be expected to be an active and enthusiastic
contributor to the strategic direction and management of the
organisation.
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience
managing large teams and delivering employee benefits (payroll)
services, within a large complex multidisciplinary organisation.
Ideally you will possess exceptional analytical and problem solving
skills including a demonstrated understanding of contemporary
issues and trends as they relate to the core functions of the
business unit (as outlined in the JDF); and a proven ability to
deliver innovative solutions in a complex payroll context.
To be successful in this role you will need exceptional
stakeholder engagement capability in order to effectively
collaborate, influence and negotiate across a broad range of
organisational levels and with various stakeholders.
You will draw on your ability to lead, manage and engage your
people in order to deliver excellent customer service and payroll
support to the frontline workers supporting the public within the
WA Health system.
