About the Role
Newton Moore Senior High School is seeking a student-focused and collaborative leader to foster a school culture that promotes positive relationships among students, and between students and staff. The successful applicant will actively engage parents and the broader community in the educational work of the school.
As Principal, you will demonstrate innovation and creativity in developing systems and structures that support both the academic achievement and wellbeing of students. You will lead continuous school improvement with a strong focus on enhancing instructional practices and teacher pedagogy. A key responsibility will be to build strong networks with external agencies, other schools, and community services to enrich school programs and provide holistic support for students.
The successful candidate will also drive ongoing improvements in the school’s cultural responsiveness, with a particular emphasis on sustaining a whole-school commitment to improving educational outcomes for Aboriginal students.
