This is a permanent full-time position commencing October 2025.
ICT Governance and Planning is the primary entry point to ICT for any new significant effort, project, planning or major change initiative.
Resource Planning is undertaken to ensure that ICT resource (including staff and equipment) contributions to projects and work are understood and reported on a regular basis. This fosters improved project delivery through optimum use of resources as well as enabling decisions concerning changes to work and other priorities to be properly resourced and the implications to be understood and managed.
The Role
If successful, you will provide essential support to the Coordinator, ICT Business Operations in managing divisional staffing requirements, ensuring alignment with the Public Sector Standards in Human Resource Management. Your responsibilities will include generating reports, maintaining accurate records and monitoring human resource management activities to support effective workforce planning.
You will also coordinate job vacancies, including deployment, selection and appointment activities, ensuring all procedures are conducted efficiently and in compliance with relevant standards.
In your role as Business Support Officer, you will ensure adherence to government policies, procedures, guidelines, and legislation in the administration of procurement activities. You will assist in managing the Division’s software register, overseeing software assignment and monitoring compliance. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of procedures and guidelines for effective software asset management.
