Hampton Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a leading administrator to join their Executive Team as Deputy Principal of Timetabling and Strategic Operations.

The Role
The successful applicant for this role will ideally display outstanding communication and leadership skills and use these to work in a shared, collaborative arrangement with the Senior Leadership Team, particularly with Head of Learning Areas (HOLAs) and Program Coordinators. Joining the Executive Team, Principal, and the Deputy Principal - Teaching and Learning, Deputy Principal Student Engagement and the Manager Corporate Services, the successful applicant will play an integral role in strategically leading the continuation of Hampton’s school improvement journey. The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated, relationship focused and dedicated to creating a timetable and processes that provide every student with a pathway to a successful future.
The role may include:
- Overseeing timetable creation, and grid development, maintenance and review.
- Establishing school staffing needs in conjunction with HOLAs.
- Planning within the Schools Resourcing System with the MCS and Principal.
- Reporting setup, timelines, maintenance, SEN reports.
- Line managing a range of Learning Areas, including Performance Development.
- Managing course selection processes 7-12, including managing SSO and overseeing all handbooks and post-school pathways publications.
- Manage and maintain Assessment and Reporting through Compass, including a timeline for phased roll out.
- Leading Effective Classroom Practice (as per Business Plan).
- Managing all areas of Year 10-12 exams, including ESTs.
- Managing all aspects of OLNA and NAPLAN, including developing processes for data analysis generation and usage.
- Managing all aspects of SCSA compliance.
- Deliver professional learning in any of the areas above.
