We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Lakeland Senior High School (SHS) is a thriving school community. Extracurricular programs are in abundance and after school homework classes are well attended. Staff are highly committed and seek to develop friendly and supportive working relationships with students. A major school goal is to become the school of choice for the majority of youth living in the district. In working towards this goal the school has excelled in many areas, and developed programs that engender success. Lakeland SHS provides a calm and friendly atmosphere where students are encouraged to succeed and take pride in what they achieve. The school has two very successful approved Specialist Programs in Music Technology and Touch Football & Sports Science.

The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally be adaptable and able to take on new challenges and learn new skills. Additionally, they will need to be professional, reliable, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a busy environment. They should possess strong organisational skills in delivering and prioritising tasks when under pressure, have a customer service focus with well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to use their initiative. In addition, they will need to display their ability to work well within a team environment providing support to the administration team, school community and teaching staff. As a Level 2 School Officer, you would provide vital support to the administration team across a range of operational areas at Lakeland Senior High School.

The suitable applicants will ideally have relevant experience and have the ability to deliver a diverse range of high-quality administrative services. These may include, but are not limited to, reception and front office duties, processing student enrolments, managing attendance records, supporting financial operations, relief staff management and assisting with student engagement programs. Previous experience using Compass, Schools Information Systems (SIS), HRMIS, RM Billing and RM Finance would be highly regarded.
