This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP

Delivery of ICT services provides support for the Department’s educational outcomes by developing initiatives and technical support strategies to ensure all 800-plus Western Australian public schools can be individual, distinctive and responsive to their local communities, while still benefiting from being part of a system

The Role

If successful, you will prepare, quality assure, and evaluate briefing papers, ministerials, speeches, correspondence, and confidential reports on behalf of the ICT Executive Team. As a Principal Consultant, you will provide strategic advice and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of strategies, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards that support the strategic direction of ICT, in accordance with evolving educational priorities and whole-of-government digital directions.

In consultation with division staff, you will translate technical subject matter information into natural language for the Department’s communication platforms, and all other corporate correspondence. You will undertake comprehensive research and stakeholder consultation to identify current trends and issues across ICT functions and provide strategic advice and recommendations to the ICT Executive Team.
